At this point “I'll believe it when I see it”

It seems like there has been a lot of contradicting information regarding new colors for the '04 MINI. Here's some interesting information I just received from a reliable source that hopefully clears things up a bit:
“It has been confirmed by MINIUSA that Pepper White will be coming on the S starting in 2004. Cordoba Beige will also be available with sport seats. Velvet Red will be phased out sometime in 2004 and will be replaced by Electric Blue for the Coopers.”
“[There's] still a possibility of Orange seeing production for europe in 2004 as well as Colbolt Blue.”
I have a hunch that this info is correct. What I'm still wondering is will the light blue and orange indeed make it out of Europe and over to the US at some point.
ReplyAs I motored on the german autobahn the other day with my MCS I noticed an orange MCS on the other side with a white roof … but I was too fast to see it more than one second :( Maybe some guys from BMW?
ReplyThat blue color looks more proper on a 1980-90's mini-truck than it does on a MINI Cooper.
