p>Update: Apparently TechTV just can't get enough of the MINIUSA/MCO debacle. This comes from Mark at MCO:

Wanted to provide an update on this…TechTV has decided to fly a crew out to Colorado to meet with me this coming Monday. From what I understand the piece will air on Wednesday (August 13th). They've asked me to bring my car (the TEAM MCO car) and I hope to get a couple of other MINI owners to come out to join me. Stay tuned and keep the petition going!

Here's the original blurb seen on TechTV lastnight:

Fans of Mini Cooper cars are upset after they say they were contacted by Mini owner BMW, demanding the fans cease and desist using Mini logos and Mini-related Internet domain names. Sites such as Mini Cooper Online are urging other Mini fans to support the Mini community by signing an online petition.

Way to go Mark! I don't think this is the last we'll see of this story in the press.
