Perversion? No, no, no. Here's a company that offers those who desire something extraordinary the opportunity to layer some very personal style and quality on to a fundamentally attractive little car. That's a damn good thing any way you look at it... as is the Woody.

I think perversion is pretty harsh. I just love it, think it's adorable, just like the mini and Id buy it if it weren't so doggone pricey. But anyway, if I could just decide on a color for the mini Im dreaming of. Can anyone out there help me?? This is keeping me awake at niight. Im down to two; pepper white all chrome or indi blue white top and all chrome. Or wait and get the electric blue. I understand the electric blue will be offered on MC and MCS for 05.

Like it or not, this is quite a cool throwback to one of the things that made the Classic Mini, what it was, all of the different 'unofficial' versions. And the fact that this is seriousally based on past versions (Countryman), and has the same type of interior treatments (wicker) that were once popular with parts of the Mini croud, I can't see how this is any sort of perversion of the MINI. It's really a massive amount of respect that Carrozzeria Castagna is giving the MINI.

What about a MINI that seats more than 4 people. Having a family of 5 there are just too many times we have to leave the MINI home!

I think, to my taste, that the interior is horrible, over the top, not in keeping with the designer-ish look of the car, but I like the exterior. Could do without the wood but it doesn't bother me that much. Nice gallery!

Hey Gabe, remember all the pics of temps in the minus'? Well how about fair play. I have a pic from today (3/8) of my speedo temp at 80+ here in LA LA LAND!.......R

Actually, as a Countryman owner, I rather like it. The Mini came in many guises, and so should the new MINI. I wish it wasn't that far away and that expensive, tho.

          BCNU,

I can't imagine anyone being interested in this. It is the most hideous perversion of the Mini. The only thing worse would be an AWD Mini SUV.
