There was a fellow we met on the first RDR run in NY.  He is a woodworker by trade and he had transformed the interior of his MINI by replacing key parts with fantastic wood work (the two side verticals on either side of the cup holder for example)&lt;/p&gt;

And a very good profile to start off with - Ian is a very creative guy, with a subtly individual MINI, and a depth of knowledge regarding electronics that has already been a boon to several other owners, myself included. The painted Union Jack is just an indication of how serious he must be about details, where the devil lives. No two MINIs should be precisely alike, IMHO, and the more carefuly modified MINIs define their owner. Good Job, Ian!&lt;/p&gt;
