The highly anticipated Bentley Manual for the MINI has finally arrived on store shelves. Here's the low-down from Bentley themselves:

This is the only comprehensive, single source of service information and specifications available for MINI models from 2002-2004. The aim throughout this MINI repair manual has been simplicity, clarity and completeness, achieved through practical explanations, step-by-step procedures and accurate specifications. Whether you're a professional technician or a do-it-yourself MINI owner, this manual will help you understand, care for and repair your car.

Bentley Publishers' new MINI service and repair manual is based on factory information, but is heavily supplemented by hands-on experience and illustrations. The service manual editorial team has disassembled and photographed several MINI models for this project in the Bentley Service Information Research Center.

I pre-ordered this on Amazon.com, and it still hasn't shipped out yet. Their delivery estimate date is August 18-20, though. Strange.

Mines pre-ordered at amazon for ages also. showing as september 18-20 due to international shipping times. I have a build number on my 05my cooper S also, but us aussies dont appear to have any way to track those :-( i have TK74409 and a boat number of 9767472 but no way to track either. any clues anyone?

try going on miniusa.com, i tracked mine all the way from england and was there to greet my baby at the harbor :-)

I don't know if Mini uses the same carrier (Wallenius Wilhelmsen) for Australia as for the US, but if it does, just scroll down the Mini2 page to find links to the WW site and other marine tracking sites.

JB – yes, Minis come to Australia via Wallenius Wilhelmsen and you can track your shipment on their website.

Go to this website: http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp

Click on the “Cargo Tracking” link. Then the “Auto” link listed under Track By Cargo. The cargo I.D. is your MINI's V.I.N. number. Your Mini dealer can tell you this. Then click on the “Voyage” link and you can see what ports your shipment has been through and when it will arrive in Australia. Good luck!

Just got my Bentley Service Manual today. I can't wait to go home an study. Ah yes, and a long weekend. Should be able to disassemble and reassemble the Mini!!!

I have a TK74409 number, but my dealer was not sure about which was the correct prefix for the full VIN either WNWRC WMWRE32050 or something. i have ordered a mini cooper S i have a boat number also, 9767472 but the WW site is giving my mac issues so i will check back at work tomorrow… thanks!

hi, boys! I really do have a question. a lot of my friends, who have been abroad in europe, told me that there is an oportunity to order a mini in boxes (i mean disasembled) so you can assemle it by yourself. is it true? how can i order one? does anyone know?
