Ian, you gotta scan in that two-page image on the first pages of the article. Hopefully, MT will sell it as a stand-alone photo.

Jim G...right on!

Thanx Ian for scanning the article.

I have some comments...

"mini owners are slightly older."

Slightly older than what? I'm 58 does that mean my age bracket or slightly older than an 18 year old???

At least they got the income right.

I live in LA and I have never seen a "hispanic" person driving a Hummer. Here it's pretty much the 20-30 Crackerville crowd as far as the Hummer goes. But that is just my experiance and I am a Cracker.

I'm sure they have research to back up their claims but in a population, CA, where Hispanics are the largest ethnic group how come I have never seen this happening.

"bought for " distinctive styling, dynamic, athletic and attention grabbing"...

Give me a break it's a frickin shoe box! Athletes foot is more like it.

I used to race the SCORE Off Road Series and if I was still doing that I might think this would make a good chase vehicle but that's about it.

I'll have to let the Our Govenator buy them all as he is probably able to afford the gas.

Put that SLUG on the slalom course.

That's my rant this early AM...... I feel much better now...RB

Seems like if they tried to take the MINI on the Hummer driving course they should have taken the Hummer to an Autocross....

I have this latest issue (subscription) and had a blast reading the article. I absolutely have to get a copy of the two-page spread that starts it off. A Liquid Yellow MCS towers above a yellow H2 (Tonka-type toy), from a worm's-eye view. Amazing. Of course, the Mini wins the comparo.
