We get a lot of email in the MotoringFile inbox about which mods to do first and which aftermarket parts are the best. However one of the most asked questions recently is which intake is the one to get for the MCS. And now with the standalone JCW intake coming out soon that question will assuredly be asked even more. Obviously we could give our opinions until we're blue in the face but I'd like to think that our readers have some interesting thoughts to share on the topic as well. So with that in mind let's hear from all of the aftermarket intake owners out there – specifically owners of intakes from Promini/BMP, Dinan, K&N, Alta, Pilo, and John Cooper Works.
- How was installation?
- How do you like the construction and engineering of the unit?
- Do you feel the advertised power gain?
- Does it integrate with the cowl for even more cold air?
- How does it sound?
- Is it worth the money?
