Web-Spoke Alloy Wheel

mini

Here's the official word from MINIUSA on the new Web-Spoke 17″ alloy wheel:

This new wheel is our two-piece, top-of-the-line-wheel, made for Cooper S customers who want the sportiest offerings possible. As such, we will also be offering it with the sport packages on the Cooper S and Cooper S convertible as an option in place of the normal package wheel choices. If the customer chooses this wheel, the price of the pack is increased to $1850.

  • 2RE Alloy Wheels /17″ Web-Spoke (run flat perf tires) Retail Price = $1100
  • ZSP Sport Package w/2RE Option Retail Price = $1850

This wheel is listed in the 2005 dealers' brochure but as a one-piece wheel.

    No word on weight.

According to MINIUSA info released today it's a two piece. I guess we'll find out soon.

    Maybe I missed it….

    Is this wheel available now?

  • BudD

Love the wheel, hate the price, but you can sure tell it was designed somewhere within BMW. Check out the wheels on a 6 series convertible.

Not sure exactly when it'll be available… I'd guess by the start of '05.

  • ChrisLW

Boy, this looks amazingly like the wheels on the Bentley Continental GT, including the two rivets between each “spoke”. The MINI's in good company.

  • Todd

Looks cool, nice design. But when is MINI going to come out with spinners!!

  • gz

I was told this is available if you order a mcs now but it can't be delivered until Feb. The new wheels are nice for an additional $500 over the cost of the sport package considering I was going to drop an additional $1400 on a set of R-90s. These look great and I'm told are lighter.

I need to see a full picture–I do like them alot better than the s-lites

  • Alex
