&lt;p&gt;We just got our first shipment of convertibles with a new &quot;switchguard&quot; over the top buttons.  It&#039;s a plastic flip-cover like the type used to safeguard dangerous buttons like missile launch buttons.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It has a little stop sign on it and it says something like &quot;are you sure you want to put the top up?&quot;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You have to flip up the little cover to access the top buttons.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Genius!  :-)&lt;/p&gt;
