New MotoringFile Desktop Wallpaper

As several have commented recently it's been a long time since we've added anything to our desktop wallpaper section. I'm happy to say the wait is over. Dave Bunting, long a fixture at North American Motoring, has generously donated a fantastic photo he recently took for use as MotoringFile desktop wallpaper. So for those that need to spruce up the desktop a bit check out our wallpaper section.

Yes and no. We're picky in terms of what we have on the site but happy to accept submissions. We just don't want to have too large of a desktop section due to bandwidth issues.

I took that picture with a P&S camera (Nikon Coolpix 4300) so the camera work isn't that complicated, but I do have quite a bit of time invested into the process, so I'm not going to comment on it much.

Silly questions – what color is the car, dark silver/white? Which wheels do you have and what tinting for the windows?

Your hunch is correct, it's Dark Silver / White Roof, with White v-spokes.

The tint is 28% Formula One Premier.

This is an incredible shot. Any chance that it’s still around? I’d love to have it as my desktop wallpaper. (I’m a new mini cooper owner) =)
