The MINI brand was able to increase its volume of sales in January by 11.9% to 16,987 units (previous year: 15,187). The level of equipment and product mix continue to be of a high value: 45% of customers in January decided on the MINI Cooper and 23% on the top-of-the-range Cooper S. The basic option, the MINI One, was chosen by 32%. Although January is not the preferred season for driving with the top down in the MINI’s most significant markets, almost 3,000 (2,983) MINI Convertibles were delivered.
