Ahhhh, yes – very nice perks you have there! :p

Today’s a good day to write for MotoringFile. In a few hours I’ll be given full VIP access to the Kings Island Italian Job ride (before it official opens to the public). Then (and this is the cool part) I’m invited to take part in an official MINIUSA competitive autocross featuring the entire range of MINIs sold in the US. I’ll be competing against other journalists and since we all know many of those guys can’t keep a car on the road to begin with, I’m liking my chances.
I’ll have full reports on the ride and the autocross in a few days…
Ahhhh, yes – very nice perks you have there! :p
Just don’t lose to Ann Job from MSN Autos. Har Har Har! :-)=
I’ve seen a preview of the ride, those upscale JCW seats seats good :-)
Looks and sounds like so much fun.
So jealous, Gabe! Have fun!
I hope Paul Frere’ isn’t there. Otherwise, to quote Dennis Hopper, “Kick their butts!”

Gabe,
Sounds like you will be having an awesome day. Remember what Cole Trickle would say ” Rubbin is racin”.
Bob
must be great to have a midweek day off to motor, have a great time
Hopefully, the 6/18/05 King’s Island MINI event that has been reported with fits & starts on northamericanmotoring, min2 & miniusa will actually come to fruition & we can all have a chance to be treated like a rock star on this new MINI ride.
Can’t wait to hear about it!!!!
Too bad it’s raining at PKI today, wonder if that will impact the ride or autocross event?!?
Finally a pay off for all your hard work! Lucky you… and a race too! Can’t wait to hear your full account of the events.
Check it out–a 4 door mini! lol
Gabe, As Napoleon would say “lucky”
Wow! Have a great time Gabe!
Great great time. The ride was pretty cool too.
Okay, I’m off to see Star Wars…
Gabe, I suppose you know you’re living everybody’s fantasy. That is, at least one of them. Feel the need for speed…
Star Wars rocked (I was one of those that helped make the $16.5M midnight showing record! Ack!)… hope the roller coaster and racing rocked too! Very jealous!
