More Details Released for MINI United

The mother of all world MINI events is getting closer. MINI United’s website has been updated with a ton of new info on the event, the surrounding area, and how to get there. The weekend will take place in northern Italy at the Misano racetrack on October 28th – 30th. There’s also a rumor going around that MINI United will be the world debut of something “special” from MINI. My money is on MINI showing off the newly released special edition lighweight.

Anyone know if you can rent a MINI Cooper S to head down to Misano? Not being able to bring my own car, I’d like to at least rent a similar model…

I know they are working on something like that. I don’t have specific details yet, but that is something MINI is aware of.

I can only repeat my offering: If anyone wants to fly into Frankfurt, Germany and drive down there, let me know. My local dealership has an integrated Enterprise Rent-a-car station where you can get a MINI.
