Wonderful pics! Is there any way I can get them for my desktop wallpapers? Thanks! ;)

ReplyNow that MINI Vacation in Vegas has wrapped, it’s time to make sure what happened in Vegas, doesn’t stay in Vegas. Or in other words… let’s see some pics!

Next up on the enormous MINI event calendar will be the mother of them all, the Dragon! See you all there.

Replywow – those are great! wallpapers would be killer!
Also, how many MINIs for that event?
ReplySince I bought my Mini, several other people have commented that I bought a “chick car” (most of them drive muscle cars). I don’t agree with them and I love my Cooper.
But given that you just posted all these photo’s of this awesome Mini event I have to ask the question to those who were in attendance.
Did you notice that an overwhelming number of the Mini owners were women?
ReplyI would be surprised if that’s the case… I’d love to meet some more MINI-driving women (preferably the single kind), I think men make up the majority of the enthusiast community. If the MotD ‘06 Frappr map is any indication (and people properly indicated their gender) most of the participants are men.
ReplyThose photos from Lexster are mis-labled. They are from AMVIV 3 2006.

ReplyWell I thought that the Cooper in training was pretty well done.
Most I know are owned by men but who cares.
The pics by Juan, as usual, are great.
ReplyIf you go to the actual Flickr AMVIV Group website, the photos are labeled, sometimes even correctly. ;-)

ReplyDriving a MINI usually means it always stands out in a parking garage. That must have been a pain with all of them parked up top like that.
Replyawsome pictures. I had a great time there getting to know other Mini Owners. The Strip Run was Awsome. I heard from someone they counted 200 cars were on the strip.
Happy happy
ReplyGreat pics, sounded fun. And wow, that flickr feature is great. Flickr is a great site, GJ whoring it gabe. =]
ReplyDoes anyone have an estimate of total number of MINIs attending the event?
ReplyJosh -
By my count, it was at least a whole bunch, with an outside estimate of a helluva lot, but I don’t know the official registered count; that’s something Sin City prolly knows, and will be posted somewhere soon, I hope. I gave up counting after 250, ’cause I couldn’t be everywhere at once, and I heard upwards of 350-400.

ReplyMostly Guys were driving the MINIs. I’d say about 300 cars were there. And yes, the Strip was the high-light event. Someone blocked off the strip so all 200 of us could get out and then people were stopping and pointing from the sidewalk the whole way down
ReplyThanks Dave for clueing me in. Your pics are awesome!
AMVIV III was so much fun. I am still recovering from the lack of sleep. It was great hanging out with other MINI enthusiasts and admiring their MINIs. We’ll definitely be back for next year’s AMVIV IV. I’ll have my camera at the ready.
For those who attended, please take a look a look at the “AMVIV III Tagged” gallery to see if we “tagged” your MINI. We would love to hear back from those we managed to “tag”.

Motor on!
ReplyRobert, thanks for the props.
Yeah, AMVIV was great! While I didn’t shoot thousands of pics, I did manage to snap off a few. They’re in RAW format however so it takes me a while to process them. Plus, I don’t post every single photograph because it only gets repetitive.
If anyone is interested in wallpaper from any of my images, leave me a comment on the flickr pic.
