R56 Spotted at the ‘Ring

MINI was back at Nurburgring this morning with the R56.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â This image was captured by a regularly updatedÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â webcamÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â positioned at the entry to the Ring.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â

I just think its pretty kick arse that the 07 MINI was caught at the ring by a Webcam, thats the most impressive news.

My Forum has been watching the Ring webcam like hawks for 3 days straight since we found out about it and have seen some awesome cars (the 07′ might have been submitted by one of us….. hehe). It’ll be interesting to see how many more test cars will be caught by this webcam in the future.

I think its REALLY kool news.

I was just there on Saturday (15th)! Took 4 laps. It was crazy. Loads of cars. 4 of every 5 turns I was just trying to stay out of the way. Saw an accident every lap. I was looking for the R56. No luck though. Figures they would keep it hidden on a big weekend, then bring it out at 5pm on a Wed. Plan to go back soon.

I like the way it’s surrounded by it’s big BMW brothers as if it was being guarded by them :)

Is it my perspective or do the fenders come out more than the previous generation? The wheels look like they are of a wider track also.
