I am just wondering what suspension (club class) do I need to meet the racing specification on my mini? And where could I get the parts from? Thanks

This suspension kit is almost the Bilstein PSS9, which is available for the street, but which has one less adjustment than this race version. I've had the PSS9 on my car for almost two years, and it's held up very well.

The cars all use Bilstein Suspension Kit. They are fully height, bump and rebound adjustable and includes struts, springs and spanner. Built uniquely to John Cooper Motorsport's Race specification. The parts are available from John Cooper Motorsport.

As to the cars looking flat, it's down to the individual or team as to how they run but the regulations limit the minimum ride height of the vehicle. Since this height is the same front and rear, I'd expect the pictures you've looked at show cars running right on the height limit.

The S-Class height limit is 235mm measured from ground to the lower edge of the body panel above the side skirt.

Hope that answers your questions ITZMTOR.

I've noticed that these cars all look very level front to rear from grade?
Do they have special set ups or is it just a coincidence of the shoots?

Are there lowering kits? If yes how much are they or can they lower the car for ace day? Is such a set available for street? I can't imagine doing it as I have enough trouble not scraping the front air dam as it is.

Nice write up.
