JCW GP Car Cover Coming

GP owners, you’re car covers are coming! Word from sources is that MINI will be making available a car cover specifically designed to fit snugly over the rear spoiler of the GP. The current covers do not account for the carbon fiber aero aid.

In other news MINI has urged all GP owners (and soon to be owners) to keep far away from any automatic car washes as the force of the rollers could do some unwelcome damage to spoiler. It’s unclear if this advise extends to touch-less car washes.

For those of you coming to the Dallas car was, there is a hand was service available for those who prefer not going through the automatic wash.

I’m not sure if it will be free, but it will be available.

There is actually a sticker on the inside of the drivers door that says ‘HAND WASH ONLY’. I wouldn’t trust my GP to a tunnel, and I work for a car wash! Well, and I don’t own a GP ;)

whoa there – easy mark! some of us who live in new york city don’t have the luxury of driveways and lazy sundays to spend detailing ;)

yeah mark…and some of us down south in TX have water restrictions with the drought right now so we can’t wash our cars at home :(

anyone know when this cover is going to be released? and if its a outdoor cover or indoor as winter is comming and my GP is getting cold outside!
