Agree Jeffrey,
Conventional hatch is the best. But for mini.. well, it is just too conventional.. and not innovative enough. They are also moving away from the barn door. Noticed?

Is the Clubman longer, or the Crossover?

Guys,
The concept sounds cool. I just hope MINI can pull off the implementation.

Seems like MINI's doors in the back are an engineering solution looking for a problem. What is wrong with a hatch in a wagon? I have always liked how a hatch is out of your way when you are trying to load things (especially when parallel parked on a street). Regarding 3 vs. 4 doors, I'm also not a big fan of having asymentrical doors. :(

Is autoexpress a respected publication in the uk?

Because to me it seems that all they do is photoshop pictures and report any new speculations. Accuracy does not seem to be a defining charactaristic of the publication.....Though it is intresting, I wouldn't think to give them a dime of my money

The roof looks different on that one? I prefer the nice rounded lines on current mini's. Wouldn't mind the extra room though.

Gabe, thanks for the heads up! The AutoExpress Cover photo, at least it seems to me, gives a good glimpse as to how the final production Clubman may look like in '08.

Can't wait for this baby to see the light of day.
