Thanks to Philip for the great write up! RudyT, we have many members in PSMINI who are current or former military. I also picked up my MINI in Europe, and even sport EU ‘D’ plates. My son’s name is Wolfgang. He was with us for the run up Mt Baker. We all love to Motor, and the MINI is the greatest car ever! Any questions?

Great write up Philip. Its been the same with me ever since I got my MINI. Being an American hooking up with a local German Forum/Chapter. When I go back home to America, don’t forget to look me up. That goes for anyone in Europe.

It was a pleasure to have Kai along with me for the ride to the top, and i'm glad you guys were able to have a good time and see a little more of Washington than you may have been able to otherwise. Maybe someday i'll make it out to Germany so you guys can show me around. :)

Very nice article Philip. I have seen the hospitality the other way when I visited Germany and was treated very well by Chapter North in Hamburg and everyone at Strahlung Pur 2.

I also got to attend a Puget Sound MINI Motoring Club meet a few weeks ago when I visited from Florida. Met some really nice people there.

We were glad to be able to include Phillip and his co-workers on the run. The Mini community is like non other. There are people who own a Mini and then there are people who drive,enjoy and share there Mini. The later are the ones who will go the extra mile for a fellow owner and are a fun bunch to hang with. Great to hear about the event, great review of it Philip. Mt. Baker is deffinetly a great drive, glad you got the chance to join up with the run.

My wife and myself are thinking about hitting the next Mini United and if so we will definetly make sure to get over to the Autobahn and have a little fun on it as long as we are on that side of the Atlantic.

Nice write up. You’re pics bring back some fond memories of when we lived up there for a year. Our place was on E. Pole Road in Lynden which always had an awesome view of Mt. Baker as I drove home.
