Will there be any info. or hints to what options or standard equipment will be available for Canadians? Btw... Can any of you show me what the Mini Cooper 2006 or 2007 rotor & brake setup (OEM) look like w/o the wheel mounted?

I envy all you the Mini Enthusiasts here on 'Motoring Forum' and Gabe's excellent postings. I check this site every day to see what's new. I can't wait to get one... If only they still had the JCW option here in Canada. Anyone here know what/how the rules are if I buy a Mini Cooper S - equipped with JCW pkg & Warranty (NEW) in the U.S. and then ship it to Canada?

Lots of questions to ask, so forgive me for posting these questions here. To me you're the 'mini' Gods.

Thanks for your help in advance!

The Alarm system that has been mentioned as standars is not on this list! Also why not have one touch up on both windows, surely it is not expensive but would be very useful.

"4 Lashing Eyes in Luggage Compartment" Last time I read an entry like that it was in the Monster Manual. LOL

O Capn, honeycomb is BUTCH. Chrome slats aren't. I like them both, but blacked out honeycomb resembles something race prepared.

Why is the spoiler standard on a Cooper? MINI should offer a no-cost spoiler delete for those of us who prefer the look of the roof without a spoiler. It seems odd to include this as standard if they are trying to reduce the cost to manufacture a MINI.

As far as one touch window up, isn't that available on the current model in Europe and they removed it for US? IF so, I would not be all that excited to see it on the R56 spec sheet.

I didn’t see anything regarding Xenon headlights. Does the new mini use Xenon? I hope so.

This document is a list of standard equipment only. Anything optional is not listed. For example, it only lists non-metallic paint.

one touch up window for driver, about time!

follow me home - same as in most recent bmw and MINI, turn car off, pull high beam level back, lights stay on for 45 seconds to illuminate your walking path to the house, or whereever..

I think they don't mention standard Xenon lights, because it has become such a standard for BMW and MINI that mentioning it would be the same as saying they come with headlights.
