I like the new GP wheel picture at the top of the page. How many new pics have you added as of late?

We've added a handful over the last month or so. There are now over 60 images that rotate automatically every day.

Give me Indigo Blue or give me death!

I personally think that some of the feminine colors aren't there just for that reason. To exude masculinity. "It isn't a chick car"

A little off topic, but here is an interesting article/interview with R56 Chief designer Gert Hildebrand:
http://www.goauto.com.au/mellor/mellor.nsf/story2/BDFB49676F522953CA2572090004075D

"[Hildebrand] said that his team started the evolutionary design process organically, by literally grafting the R56 nose to a R50 Mini centre and then working the rest of the car from there, to arrive at a balanced and harmonious result."

While bright and in-your-face-colours may not suit BMW/MINI's business model, because relatively few cars will be ordered in those colours in comparison to 'staple' colours like black, white, silver, etc - it's important to take into consideration the 'halo' effect that such colours may have on the buying public.

For example, seeing a MINI in a bright colour (yellow, orange, bright blue, heck even pink) is not only eye-catching, but may even make a positive impression on a potential buyer, even if that buyer decides to get a MINI in a colour more suited to his/her personality.

Even in a boring silver colour, a MINI is still going to exude more uniqueness than many like-coloured cars on the roads, and in the general scheme of things, isn't that what matters?

So MINI - please look at having more wild and crazy colours as a good advertising approach, and not just consider the bottom line! :-)

Here here, silver is not a color. It's just a clear coat over metal.
Bring on the color.

How long before our only choice is some sort of silver?

Fear not, there will always be a shade of Metrosexual Blue available too.

How long before our only choice is some sort of silver? The Cooper is available in few colors, including two flavours of silver, while the S adds a third kind of silver. Sheesh!
