I’m sure the brace won’t hurt chassis integrity! LOL The bar looks to be designed well; it’s length is adjustable for perfect fitment, and it may impede potential mushrooming, if that will even be an R56 problem. The only problem is the pricing…typical JCW markup. Hopefully Classic MINI offers their usual 20% discount!

I don’t like the was it doesn’t encircle the strut top. I do very much like the fact that you can set a preload on the bar using the adjustments on each side. All in all a nice piece, but most likely too pricey for me. Espesially when you figure in the cost of an R56 in.

Yes, but is it worth it? Let’s hear some opnions. Gabe wrote it was virtually unnecessary on the R53; what about on the R56, with or without the rumored to be harsh sports-suspension? Is this a better and cheaper alternative?

Parallel is correct. They are speaking of the flat top surface of the fuse box and the flattened cross section of the brace. You turn it until those surfaces are parallel.

Umm, shouldn’t that be “perpendicular to the fuse box”? Kinda hard to make it parallel…
