Happy 5th is right. I can't believe it has really been that long. My how time flies when you are having fun.

Gabe said; "The immediacy steering in both cars put my 325ci to shame however. When I got back into it after both drives it felt too isolated and numb in comparison."

This is exactly my worries about the R56 when compared to the R53. I do not want to lose any of the "immediacy" that I love so much and stray into "isolated and numb". Guess I'll have to test drive one for myself.

I’ve been obsessed with this car since the dealship opened it’s doors 5 years ago. I bet I’ve been in there 100 times.

and it's a pissing shame we have been flooded with so many photos of the lastest incarnations and the first one had so few routes d'deluge.

I'd like to see a photographic retrospect of the 2001-02 MINI unveiling.
