Clubman to Feature Exclusive Leather Trim

MF Exclusive: Since we broke the news of the Clubman’s exclusive exterior color, Hot Chocolate, readers have been pondering what was in store for the interior. We can now exclusively report that MINI’s signature interior leather trim option of the Clubman will be a Brown leather with Cream White trim. The seats will be based on the Lounge leather seats currently found in black/white and red/grey combinations in the 2007 MINI Coupe.

We’ll have anothe sneak peak at the Clubman interior later in the week.

I tell you, brown with brown is going to have to look incredible to make me think of ordering it – imagine having go tell everyone what color your MINI is :(

  • Jon

Should be cool, glad to see the clubman getting some loving.

    The color is a tie-in with Microsoft’s Zune :)

Welcome to my world. Trying to explain Velvet Red is pretty tough. I get brown more than you know ;)

Leather does not mix well with snow-covered ski gear or dripping wetsuits. Leatherette for me.

MUST HAVE AWD. MUST HAVE AWD. MUST HAVE AWD.

brown & cream so 1970s do you get flaired trousers with the car . lol

This is all fine and dandy but we want to see pics!

I am still not loving the clubman and brown/brown combo is bit 70isn. But the extra room might be the selling point for me.

  • OttoMannS

The extra room is the probably the biggest selling point for me as well. Whatever few inches you can gain the interior can make a huge difference in comfort when carrying more than 2 passengers.

  • Jon

Think the brown mettalic body is going to be ok, brown lounge leathe could look nice in it. Still don’t have much love for the Clubman but glad it will find a home with other people.

  • OttoMannS

If this hot chocolate brown metallic is similar to the shade offered by Infiniti in their FX series SUVs, I would think this car would look drop dead georgeous. While I would love to have those brown leather seats, I am not sure if I would be willing to drop $2K on them. Photos may or may not change my mind.

  • Jon

Should be interesting to see, I have the feeling though its going to be a darker brown, less like copper and more like cocoa.
