mini Back on track after a week of MINI United. I know it seems like it’s been awhile since we did a regular show, but that is only because it has been! We’re back on it.

Of course, I let the lads start off by talking about the iPhone. Enjoy it now as I’m not sure I’ll be able to stand any more of it. Skip ahead 10 minutes if you don’t want to hear it.

Gabe gave us his update on the status of his R56 and his time on the ‘Ring. If you haven’t heard that yet, click over to this post and give it a listen.

I hope they bring the R56 JCW Race Car to America, or I would be happy with a JCW “Stage 2″ kit as well.

Hey Gabe do you have any information on MINI USA bringing the R56 JCW Recaro seats available or will it only stay a Europe option?

Just FYI, the MINI Press Conference @ Frankfurt (Where we’re assuming the Clubman will be unveiled) is scheduled for 10:30 am on the 11th of September. BMW has the first press conference scheduled for 8:30 (Where I hope to see the new 1-er Coupe)

Interesting tidbit of information on MINI scaling back production of R56′s upon the release of the Clubman.

I’d heard that speculation elsewhere in responce to the “MINI’s flooding the market with R56′s” comments… but hearing it confirmed… maybe MINI won’t be the next GTI after all.
