With so many MINI-philes obsessing about MINIs 24-7, and with the configurator being so popular, wouldn’t it make sense and good P.R. for MINI to let the MINI fans use the configurator to help decide which configurations they would like to see in the showrooms?

I’m conflicted about the Clubman. Mainly the rear view visibility / the fat door seams, and whether the extra size will mean usable utility… people who are thinking about getting one, any thoughts?

For those pre-builds without the Convenience package – does anyone know if the Homelink rear mirror can be easly or cost effectively installed post delivery?

How early can we order an R56 with the options we'd like?

I think all I may need is the Detroit show to see it in person- early drive impressions are largely similar to the R56. Then would I have the normal 6-8wk wait period, putting the R55 in my driveway about early March?

The pre-specs aren't bad. Just need that cold weather pack on all cars destined for the north...

I would rather have seen the Hot Chocolate as an S with the silver bonnet stripes….however; they didn’t ask me. :)

The Cooper S Clubman will still have no spare. Reason being there is no space for a full size spare… the brakes are too big for a space saving size spare tire.

Hmm...does the Clubman-S come with a mini-spare tire or is it on run-flats like the smaller siblings?

I wouldn't buy any of them, but I've always been pickier than most about the options I like & dislike.

IMHO, MINIUSA would do well to get off their butts and get the configuator online...
