Wish they actually made somthing like that for the MC and MCS. Would make it easier dragging the extra wheels/tires, floor jack and toolbox to the track!
Ah! At last, a place to discretely hide the bodies, and it looks hose-washable, simplifying fluids disposal immensely! Sadly, no rotating knives, tho. Still, kudos to the fiendish MINI design team!
While it looks very well made, I challenge other after-market companies to come up with something a little more robust. How long will it be before someone makes a Clubman Van – how about Monster Garage again?
Too me. it looks over-engineered,definitely by Germans. A giant play pen!, but no safe in that role.
There is something similar for the R56 but it is definitely not as nice.
I think that it is funny (haha) that there is a DIY for a car that hasn’t even been released yet. But it does inspire us of what they are thinking in the marketing department of the image of the R55, and more telling, it will probably fit the R60 SAV.
The Clubman was released Nov. 10th in Europe, the UK and Ireland – all countries where thousands of MF visitors come from.
This is the exact product I have been kicking around in my head for the past few years to make the entire cargo area of a MINI into one giant dog crate.
Hope they do make one for the standard Coopers.
Does anyone know where / how to buy the checkered version? I have only seen plain black on European wensites. Thanks
