Page 122 Table A.8a states that only cars with emissions under 100g/km will be exempt from Vehicle Excise Duty. As both diesels are above this this is how it works out. 08/09 £35, 09/10 £20 and 2010/11 £0 for first year then £20 per year after that.</p> <p>Just wanted to correct above as it makes it seems no Vehicle Excise Duty is payable after 01 April 2009.</p> I have a copy of the Budget 2008.
