The JCW suspension debacle. This is the deal - Mini is probably right with what they have done, but all the same its stupid. They should just flip it around - the car should come with the JCW suspension, and they should have an option to delete it for a the softer Sport or Standard suspension. This way the car is serving the performance enthusiast it was made to please, and the goofball that wants the fastest car with the softest suspension can be the one to go through the hassle and expense of having the suspension on their new car swapped out.

it's going to show up in itunes again shortly. I updated everything but iTunes wouldn't update, so I reposted it just a little while ago, right before 236.

Again, sorry for the mixup.

If the Cooper has a different 'standard' suspension than the Cooper-S 'standard' suspension, is the optional 'Sport Suspension' also different for each model?
Or - does the optional 'Sport Suspension' result in the exact same part list regardless on model?

The correct file is in the feed, but iTunes is still grabbing 220. I just send a ping to iTunes, hopefully it will update in the next few minutes.

Humorous show par normal guys

Will look forward to hearing what Gabe has for the explanation for not offering the kit as a standard option on the JCW Mini. My guess is Mini is actually thinking about offering something else.

As the foremost R60 hater on the web (or so it seems) all I have to say is that my concern isn't about poor mileage from the car. Its about taking the brand in a direction that I feel that while its likely to be successful leaves the soul of the brand that Sir Issigonis developed rather compromised. I still believe there were other viable business directions they could have chosen that would have not created yet more ambiguity for the brand.

Between a performance car with a purely laughable suspension to developing a crossover that will run into issues with being just one of many on its price point solving questions most every manufacture have answered 5 years ago. Also with the coming introduction of the 1 series SAV I believe that once again Mini is going to be looking at some rather price point considerations.
