Was there a link I was supposed to click on somewhere on the confirmation page to print out my ticket?

All I did was print out the confirmation page right after I registered then closed the browser. But I do have a credit card confirmation number and a transaction number.

Also, is there a way to add on a guest later on under my name?

I am sorry that some of you despise Miami so much. But like it or not, the vast majority of Minis/MINIs in the state of Florida reside right here. This is MINI central and this is where is at.

We Miami residents are often expected to make the long drives to major MINI events. Why MTTS should be the exception? This is our turn.

Orlando is a major tourist trap where you see MINIs every 3-4 days (If you are lucky).

I guess some of you are mad because now is your TURN to make the roadtrip.

If you still want to come to Miami, make sure to bring your passport and vaccination certificates. We will send you right back to America if you don’t.

I wish it was in just about any place else in Florida (Orlando, Daytona, Sebring) but Miami, but I’m just thankful they did choose to have it in this state, Due to extortional fuel prices and my changed economic circumstances, I would not have been able to afford to participate this time if it had been cross-country again. I figured that for the legs of MTTS 2006 that I participated in and the drive up from Florida, I spent around $300.00 in gas. If I were to repeat that route today, my fuel costs would be closer to $500.00. From my home on the southwest coast of Florida, I should be able to get to Homestead and Miami and back and do some running around while I’m over there for around 2.5 tanks of gas, or around $120.00 worth.

Now if I can just get someone to share my motel room in Homestead near the track, I should be able to get my costs down to the level that it’s relatively affordable. Didn’t really need to party on South Beach anyway…

Back when MINIUSA had the vote running for what type of event to have, I voted for another “cross country” trek, just like the last one. I was very disappointed that it didn’t win the vote.

To me, this isn’t MTTS. This is MT4C. (MINI Takes 4 Cities)

I attended 3 legs of the first MTTS, and I would have tried hard to attend at least part of MTTS had it been another cross-country run. Disappointing, to say the least. Part of the problem with “stationary” events is that they don’t get much exposure outside the MINI community! However, the line of MINIs that drove from coast to coast last year sure did get more publicity! How better than to represent “Let’s Motor” than by actually MOTORING across the country?

Hopefully MINIUSA will bring back the cross-country idea for 2010… even if it is a different route (Miami to Seattle, anyone?)

I’m hoping the next MTTS will once again visit the Bay Area.

As soon as we lock down all of our plans, I just might do that. Thanks!
