Any word on when we can expect a configurator for the JCW car on MINIUSA.com?
ReplyA few weeks ago we talked about timelines and general information on the JCW cars. This week we’ve got the final (and official) ordering guides from MINI USA. You can grab them below.

Any word on when we can expect a configurator for the JCW car on MINIUSA.com?
ReplyThe Blue cloth/leather is still listed as an option for the JCW Cooper Hardtop. The Clubman has it replaced with Ray Cream. Also, I didn’t know that Mellow Yellow wasn’t available for the Clubman.

MA told me to look for configurator sometime in July. Not sure if he is correct but it’s the only estimate that I have heard thus far.
ReplyMy dealer claims they are getting only 2 of them. Neither are customer orders. They will be pretty loaded with leather, premium package, sports package, and convenience packages, plus a few ala carte items.
ReplyMA’s have had pricing since 4/28. Dealers have limied allocations for 2008 production (2009 JCW Model Year)
ReplyAlso, I didn’t know that Mellow Yellow wasn’t available for the Clubman.
Mellow Yellow is available for the Clubman, but not for the Clubman S. (And, it apparently follows, not for the Clubman JCW).
ReplyMINI Northwest claims that there is already a nine month wait at their dealership.
ReplyDid my part to help out with NW Mini’s wait by deciding to not go after this car. Happily gave up my number 1 spot to buy a GP.
ReplyMy dealer (Sandia MINI in Albuquerque) currently has 2 production slots for the JCW Hardtop, one with production 1st week of June, the other 1st week of July.
Both are going to customers with the options/colors of their choice, so if the dealer says that neither of them are customer orders … well I sat with the sales manager as he changed the options for my car (color, packages, all of it). Also there is no sports package for this car, so BS on what your dealer is telling you
ReplyGREAT!….I thought the the sport suspension and aero kit were not going to be available for the Clubman.
ReplySo when will the new (actual) black be available? I was hoping that would coincide with the JCW.
ReplyIt’s up to the dealer how they use the allocations. Obviously robbles dealer is banking that the cars will sell, so is optioning them up to increase profits and will sell to whomever wants them. AlexMs dealer is choosing to fill these production slots just like any other cars, if a customer wants to custom order, it’s fine with them

ReplyYes where is this new black? As I look at the options this car is hardly a “special” edition as it’s virtually identicle to what been available. It had better be FAST.
Reply[...] longer. First off all models will increase $750 but will now include dynamic stability control. And as reported a few months back the package structures have changed slightly as well. But package related item to note is that the [...]
