MTTS Miami Headliner?

branch.jpg

Rumor has it that the headliner talent for MTTS Miami will be Michelle Branch. Branch is known for her hit songs Everywhere, All You Wanted and I’m Feeling You, a collaboration with Carlos Santana. We expect that Branch will hit the stage on Saturday, June 14th on the MINI/Rolling Stone stage at the Homestead Speedway near Miami. You can still register for the event at the official MTTS site.

This is still un-confirmed but we expect an official announcement soon.

Stay tuned for news on additional acts in the other MTTS cities.

    Never heard of her.

    That’s disappointing… I wasn’t sure if I was going, and this isn’t helping.

    Yup…another reason to go.

It’s funny that the tentative attitudes toward attending MTTS this year really mirror a lot of the comments I read two years ago. It’s easy to say that the published/announced activities and events don’t fit your particular style or personality or whatever. What I think people are missing is that, just like MTTS 2006, the events will be what you make of them. I know a lot of people who had low expectations of MTTS 2006 were amazed at how much fun they had.

All that being said, if you choose not to go to any MINI event or get together due to schedule conflicts or financial concerns that’s completely understandable. If you choose not to step out and take a risk by attending MTTS or a club event or a track day or whatever because it doesn’t sound like fun to you, I say it’s truly your loss because these events are about a really incredible gathering of people and some fantastic cars.

You know what they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

It’s a car thing – the side show is just that. Go if you wanna hang with other MINI owners, and what will be will be.

    Todd, very well said!

All I can say is that I was repeatedly surprised and delighted with some of the unannounced extras MINI had for us on MTTS 2006. It will be what you make of it. If you go there with a bad attitude, you probably will not have a good time.

    Should have booked LCD Soundsystem.

    Todd – well said.

She is a great performer…..and I cant wait for MTTS! It is going to be a blast, and there will be a LOT of little things that MINI isnt even telling us….from what I hear! There will be other local bands playing also, and there will be plenty of night life to see while there. I plan on having a great time! See everyone there!
