&lt;p&gt;However I have never claimed doom and gloom about the Clubman, other than to state that the new Clubman&#039;s boxy rear end didn&#039;t do a lot more for me than the original did. The Clubman has historical precedence and is a unique answer for those looking for a more usable rear seat.&lt;/p&gt;
