Don’t we really want to know if there will, indeed, be a 5-door hatchback? That’s the MINI I would like to see. That’s the MINI that I could justify to my wife. MINI already has a Toyota Prius killer in European roads…. Its called the MINI Cooper “D” (Aka the “Dooper”). 70 MPG in the highway all thanks to a high tech BMW-PSA Prince 1600cc diesel engine. You can’t argue with a 650 mile range per tankful.

I happen to agree with you as I would like the Mini to stay exclusive (way cooler) and not try to be all things to all people.
