Did a factory tour on Saturday and watched some of the last R52′s roll off the line.They finished over the weekend.Line to be reset over this week and R57 will start again shortly, Bring on the new blood

I was hoping they would bring back the Jet Black! I have 2005 MCSC Jet Black and love it. If I ever buy a new one, it has to be Jet Black or no deal!

I think R52 Cabrio production ended June 30th, 2008.

Incorrect. It is still in production today, but production will cease in, on, or at the end of week 30.

Why is this in "effeciency" as well as "R57"? Also remember that there are a limeted number of guns in the factory. I'm all for all colors on all models... It's not like you need a special color to know it's a rag top!

Could we get a MINI in the lime green color of my old '67 Cougar?

(I remember a few years ago, while driving across the country with my daughters, searching in vain for just that right color green.... alas, probably gone forever!)

Ugh! Why would you want a non-gloss black on a MINI? That would be even more difficult to care for than Jet Black. I also think it would look hideous.

Does this mean MINI is putting the exuberant back in their color scheme? God I hope so. My 2003 is getting on in years, but I can’t bring myself to buy in ‘chalky blue.’

So does this mean that Hot Chocolate won’t remain exclusive to the Clubman for much longer? It’s a great color and it would have been nice if it remained ‘limited’. Too bad…

MINI has never gotten the yellow paintwork right in my opinion. Liquid Yellow was too pale and Mellow Yellow makes the car look like a big rolling Mango.

I’ve heard a number of people complain that the Mellow Yellow isn’t bright enough. Hopefully hi-liter…I mean “Interchange yellow” will be bright enough.
