Here’s a first look at some of the print ads and TV commercials we’ll be seeing around the world featuring the new R57 MINI convertible. Look for market specific ads to come early next year.

“Space Blue” (if that’s what they’re calling it) looks really hot equipped with that particular interior.

Too bad the new Cooper cabrio is a little too steep of a price; I can’t justify buying a convertible in Chicago weather.

We put down a deposit for the R57 early this year and I have a question for the veteran owners … talking to some of the local Mini owners, especially in the So Cal area, it sounds like there is no room to negotiate on the price of the vehicle … if you want a new Mini, you just have to pay the MSRP, take it or leave it. I’m wondering if now that the price has gone up, are dealers going to be willing to negotiate the price at all?

But seriously you haven’t been a true open moterer until you enjoy the odd looks you get when you drive your convertible with the top down in the dead of Winter.
