		<description>&lt;p&gt;I saw the BBC report on this, with a line-up of around 10 electric cars.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;They glossed over the MINI, as there were sports cars and 4 seater hatch-backs in the lineup.  I&#039;m afraid to say the MINI being a 2 seater looked a lot less finished compared to the others.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Technically it may have a longer range and be more fun to drive than many of them, but those big batteries in the back do maker it look like a conversion as opposed to being designed to be electric.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I hate to say it, but I think a slightly taller car with the batteries underneath would trounce the MINI if it hit the market in it&#039;s current form, which is a real shame.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It won&#039;t stop me from applying for one though!&lt;/p&gt;
