Matt Nathanson to Join MINI Takes the States in LA

MTTS starts next week! As we continue to receive updates, we’ll keep sharing them! We’ve got more information about the headlining act in LA at the final stop of MTTS 2012 below. We discussed this during Woofcast 428, along with a few other things. Full press release after the jump!

MINI TAKES THE STATES 2012 is ROCKIN’ IT COAST TO COAST.

MINI proudly confirms Matt Nathanson to headline our multi-talented, super bash at the MINI TAKES THE STATES 2012 LA WRAP Party. Join us and all lovers MINI and music at the legendary House of Blues on LA’s famous Sunset Blvd on Saturday July 14, 2012.

With hits like Wedding Dress, Faster, and the ever soulful, Come On Get Higher, Matt, with all his folksy rock energy and lyrical genius, is a perfect fit for our MTTS2012 finale! Since 1993, with his first studio album ”Please” and the 2011’s award winning “Modern Love,” Matt continues to push boundaries when he collaborated with acclaimed country music sensation Sugarland, for one show-stealing performance of “Run” at the 2011 CMA show.

To get the party started, we found music sensation Rozzi Crane to open for Matt. Rozzi, fresh off her mega contract signing with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine’s 222 Records, Rozzi will bring down the house with her explosive soulful voice and commanding charisma.

Dropping beats and spinning us through the night will be NYC native DJ Rell. Rell was home schooled in the house of funk, soul and Motown and soon scratched his way to the Scratch DJ Academy in LA. DJ Rell will work his magic in-between sets and keep the crowd jumpin’ and bumpin’ all night long.

Join MINI TAKES THE STATES 2012 as we Rally this coast-to-coast-rock-a-thon with great bands in city stops Charlotte, Nashville, Chicago, Des Moines, Boulder, Albuquerque and of course, LA!

We come. We party. We rock and roll our way across the highways we like to call the open road.

GO FORTH. GO WEST. GO MINI.
