It sounds strange but the Cooper is one of the best kept secrets of the MINI range in the US. The Cooper S gets all the accolades from the press but it’s the Cooper’s 1.5L three cylinder that we find a bit more interesting truth be told. Now for the first time MINI USA is releasing a Cooper with the All4 system offering the cheapest and most efficient way to own an all wheel drive MINI.

How cheap? It’s a MINI so it’s not Fiat money. But considering what comes standard and the overall performance (and feel) that the MINI Clubman offers, $25,900 feels more than fair for an all wheel drive wagon. Going easy on the options is hard but you can get away with technology, sport and premium packages (along with heated seats) for $32,800 before any negotiated discounts (as pictured). If you want to get even more thrifty we’d opt for the sport package along with heated seats.

Head over to MINI USA and see for yourself.
