Worldwide MINI Sales were down for November 3.7%. With a total of 32,745 (-3.7%) units sold worldwide for November, it’s looking likely that 2018 sales figures will be down for the year. Year-to-date sales are down -1.8% despite the strength of the MINI Countryman which grew its sales by 2.1% in November.
While BMW doesn’t breakdown the brand’s sales by all regions, we do know that MINI USA sales were down almost 13% last month contributing to this overall decline. Where does MINI go from here and can it change trajectory in December? It’s unlikely the brand will close the gap and see positive sales growth for 2018 but there’s a lot on the horizon in 2019 and 2020 that could support growth.
