MINI USA sales are down 16.3% for January, off almost 500 vehicles from the same month a year ago. Interestingly the breakdown in models shows the Countryman (mislabeled in the chart below) down 41.3% from last year. That’s a staggering 614 vehicles. Why is MINI’s number one seller down so much when the four door hatch was up 28% and the Clubman down only 14%? We’re trying to find some answers but so far it’s unclear to us.
MINI USA Sales – Pre-owned
MINI Certified Pre-Owned sold 859 vehicles, an increase of 19.6 percent from January 2018. Total MINI Pre-Owned sold 2,035 vehicles, a decrease of .2 percent from January 2018.
