Before British culture leaned to the Classic Mini and before, John, Paul, George, Ringo and even the Queen all had one BMC had to market them. Or more aptly BMC had to explain the idea behind them all. In this 1961 video we see them doing just that. The company walks us through the initial concept of the design and then production. There are even some great moments when they show it off to the press for the first time.
It’s a priceless video that is part long form advertisement and part documentary. In short it’s a must watch for any Mini fan.
