In-Depth Look at the BMW & MINI’s Electric Vehicle Strategy
The age of the electric vehicle is coming. However exactly when is subject to intense debate. Therefore BMW and MINI have taken an approach that allows for the consumer to have as much choice as possible. That means the BMW Group are pursuing a design approach intended to accommodate internal combustion, hybrid and all electric powertrains in the same chassis.

Look for the BMW iX3 to launch later this year with the all electric i4 to make its debut next year. Then finally in 2022 the iNext crossover will debut with the highest levels of autonomy ever offered by BMW.
<p>This all comes off an one giant excuse for falling behind. The fact of the matter is that they have only one fully electrified vehicle and it came out in 2014. Version two of that same vehicle without any advancement whatsoever will now be released 6 years later in Mini form. It’s a shame, really.</p>
