[Official Release] MINI is geared up for 2013 in seriously sporty mood and with further additions to its model range. The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2013 in Detroit hosts the world premiere of the MINI John Cooper Works Paceman. The three-door model is the latest offering from the John Cooper Works sub-brand and, with its race-bred powertrain and chassis technology, brings the promise of a high-octane race feeling to the streets of the urban jungle: extreme driving fun meets the extrovert looks of the world’s first Sports Activity Coupé in the compact segment.

[Official release] The MINI Paceman is breathing new life into the premium compact segment as the first Sports Activity Coupé in its class. The latest MINI model is set to celebrate its North American premiere in the technology, design and entertainment hot spot of Los Angeles, with the extrovert four-seater’s US debut forming the centrepiece of the MINI stand at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, which runs from 30 November to 9 December 2012. Alongside the new addition to the brand’s line-up, MINI is also treating its Californian audience to an array of its other current models and products.

The Paris Motor Show is a big one for MINI. The MINI Paceman, JCW Countryman and of course the JCW GP are making their production debuts there. Yet there’s more in Paris than MINI. From BMW debuting their first front wheel drive concept (and a a sneak peak at F56 MINI’s new engine and platform) to VW showing off the new Golf and GTI it’s a huge show for the ordinary cars that will be roaming local streets for years to come.
