Something fun for you electric MINI fans out there this morning. UK site GoMotors has spy shots of an all-new electric MINI. Dubbed the MINI E Race Coupe, this is the first electric MINI we’ve seen since the MINI E program shut down. In 2010, MINI set an EV record at the ‘Ring with a MINI E hardtop hatch. Official Release: In January 2014, MINI will be lined up with eleven MINI ALL4 Racing, run by the X-raid team, at the Rally Dakar. In 2012 and 2013 the MINI ALL4 Racing was the car to beat at the toughest marathon rally in the world. Frenchman Stéphane Peterhansel won the most recent two Dakar editions at the wheel of the MINI ALL4 Racing of the Monster Energy X-raid Team.

No matter your late night viewing loyalties, there’s no denying that Jay Leno is the gear head to end all gear heads. His collection includes motorcycles, antique fire engines, tractors and more cars than one could count. While he calls it his garage, what Jay’s got is a private motor museum of his own making. Official Release from MINI Motorsports: A thrilling and eventful MINI Challenge season is slowly but surely drawing to a close. Time for a review. As well as the series in Argentina, Italy, Great Britain and Switzerland, the protagonists in action in Germany’s MINI TROPHY also ensured the name MINI remains synonymous with excitement.

Official Release from MINI USA: Robbie Davis won the Touring Car B-Spec Championship in the Pirelli World Challenge Championship in his MINI Cooper, run by the MINI of Charleston Racing Team. The American, who since 2007 has lined up in numerous series with a modified MINI Cooper S, produced a courageous performance in his adopted home of Houston. He refused to be denied by a crash and fought back to finish in the points while his closest rivals faltered.
