Sport Auto’s resident racer just took a modified JCW R56 around the ‘Ring is a smoking 7:44. That’s over 45 seconds faster than a stock JCW. With 290 hp you could understand why. But it’s also the roll cage and full KW coil over system, Drexler LSD and Dunlop Direzza 03Gs that allowed such an incredible time. The JCW Engine Tuning Kit and Exhaust are here and it’s a serious piece of kit. MINIs JCW Arm has clearly gotten serious with its approach for the F56 Cooper S. The new kit is designed more holistically than before and is comprised of a full ECU remap, stainless steel exhaust and some surprised.

Car buying has evolved significantly in the past decade, even since the MINI as we know it came into being. Yet one thing remains the same, the cars still have to be sold. MINI holds training sessions for its dealers to this day, but the chaps at Jalopnik found this highly entertaining training video talking all about the fine points of what made a Mini the car to buy in 1978.
