Recorded live before an internet audience last Thursday, the boys carry on without me discussing the Paceman and barely even mentioning the GP! As a bonus, we have finally figured out the whole chat room thing, so make sure you are around for the next live show, tentatively scheduled for May 9th, 2013.
Shortly after the live show, we took a few minutes to record something special for the dragon. If you are headed that way next month, hopefully you will get a chance to check it out. We also recorded a commercial of sorts for the White Roof Radio YouTube channel.
We start off with the news from MotoringFile, like we like to do. Then, roll into a couple of Ask Chad questions, including how we would spec a Cooper Roadster. Finish that off with a great interview with Patrick McKenna from MINIUSA where we discuss the GP, Paceman and just how awesome White Roof Radio really is.
This Thursday (tomorrow!) is the live show. You are going to be there, right? The party starts shortly after 7pm CST. Join us!
MINI Product Manager Pat McKenna took some time out of his busy schedule to chat with us about a couple of the more debated topics on MF recently. First up the GP. More specifically what’s up with the waiver GP owners are having to sign? Then we talk GP sales and value for money.
Just five guys sitting around talking about the thing that everyone loves to hate: The pre-production F56 interior. Some GP talk snuck in there too. This is definitely a show that you don’t want to miss! Be sure to check out this MotoringFile story for context of our conversation.
Did you celebrate GP Day this past weekend? The WRR Facebook page was blowing up this weekend some some great shots of brand new JCW GPs! If you picked up yours, by all means share a photo!
We talk about the Clubvan with Gabe, AMVIV X with Chris and Lisa and finish off with some Ask Chad. Also, please congratulate Boostedstig (aka Tony in Chicago) for winning the #wrrhubcap Instagram contest with the photo above. Thanks to everyone that played along!
For those of you wondering about the Chicken Tax, Wikipedia is your friend.
Another great live show for you guys and gals this week. Thanks to everyone that joined us live last week during the Google Hangout! We talked news from MotoringFile like we do, a little bit about the car you see above, this awesome brown Datsun and what Gabe is going to drive when the MF Roadster goes back to MINIUSA.
Really, you need to listen to the whole show! When you do, you will find out that we will be picking the Instagram contest winner next week druing Woofcast 460. You are going to want to stick around for that! If you missed the live show, hit the jump!
Tonight we are all about Hal Needham winning an Oscar and spend some talking about some of the greatest movies ever. Sure, Smokey and the Bandit, but don’t forget about Cannonball Run. Moving on to much Paceman talk, including the JCW model and including some hate for the Paceman from Top Gear and Jalopnik. Add in some more GP talk and you’ve got news. Finally, my piece about dealer attitudes that Nathaniel mentioned (be sure to read the comments).
Finish off with some Ask Chad and that, friends, is that. Don’t forget the Instagram contest either. Tag those photos #wrrhubcap and you can win a fabulous pile of swag from Detroit Tuned! Don’t forget, you can also follow @whiteroofradio too!
