MINI UK Introduces Olympic Special Editions

[Official Release] MINI, official partner of Team GB and ParalympicsGB, has unveiled its new London 2012 special, limited edition models to celebrate the monumental London 2012 Olympic Games.

There will be just 2,012 of these special edition models built, which are available in Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S and Cooper SD trims and come in the Union Jack themed colours; Chilli Red, White Silver or Lightning Blue. All models boast white mirror caps and a white roof featuring the iconic London 2012 Olympic graphic.

MINI Releases Monte Carlo Edition in Europe

MINI is releasing a special edition R56 Cooper S for the European market to celebrate it’s multiple wins at the Monte Carlo rally almost 50 years ago. The car comes in Chili Red with a white roof and unique stripes on the side. Additionally the car will feature unique badges and a white rings gas cap.

Perhaps the most notable thing to the are the four front driving lights installed on the grille. This marks the first time that MINI has officially sold a car with more than two driving lights. MINI has said this reduced air flow to the engine of the with the R50 and R53 models. However with the R56 the majority of cooling comes into the car via the lower grille allowing for the extra pair of lights. continued →

Exclusive: MINI to Introduce Special Edition ‘Highgate’ Convertible

MINI will be releasing a special edition MINI Convertible known as the Highgate later this year. The car will follow along the lines of the recently released MINI Hampton. Created by MINI Yours, the Highgate will feature a new color – Ice Chocolate Metallic. According to our sources the color looks to be a cross between Hot Chocolate and Astro Black. continued →

MINI UK Unveils New Soho Special Edition

Ranging in price from £16,765 to £20,135, MINI UK’s latest special edition MINI Hardtop and Convertible follow on the success of last year’s Soho Clubman. Featuring unique “White Silver” metallic paint, black alloy wheels and black headlights, the Soho continues this high-contrast design inside with the piano black interior surfaces and anthracite headliner. The Soho name, like all of MINI UK’s special edition cars, draws its moniker from among London’s many iconic neighborhoods, sites and thoroughfares.
