It may be old news to some seasoned CVT owners but there is a great thread (even if it's 8 months old) over at MINI2 that talks about some of the best techniques for using the transmission. Check it out here.

Actually, Gabe, the thread has been running for eight months, and is continually posted to! It's been a great asset, and MINI2 has a whole forum devoted just to CVT, with some objective testing and a lot of input. If you have a CVT, go there, right now.

I like the cross references being done between Bridger and MINI2; makes sense to me because the websites are refreshing, different, and complimentary.

The CVT Driving Technique thread has been relatively quiet for awhile but it does contain lots of helpful opinion from good people who post on both sites.

This activity should pick up again as we soon turn attention to the next driving season.
