This is specifically for the UK spec and all prices are in Pounds but there are some interesting items here for those ordering in the US and elsewhere. First off it appears you can only get the body colored dash on with Hot Orange, Cool Blue, or Chilli Red (BTW I've seen all three and the Chilli Red is amazing). I think that will dissapoint a few. Secondly the factory chrome mirror option also includes the, as yet unseen, chromed rear boot hinges.
You can download it here.

You'll be surprised as to how much I have warmed up to the new MINI Cabrio. BMW really did a top notch job with the final product. I still have my beefs with drop top cars (Poor visibility with top up, body flexing, added weight to prevent said flexing, etc)but the car is sure to be a looker.

Since you can't get (correct me if I am wrong) a contrast roof, MINI wised up and offered color coordinated interior trim options. Some of the body new body colors seem interesting too, like Purple Metallic.

It is interesting to note that Pepper White will not be offered in the US market cabrio.

Latest rumour on the web is that Pepper White will not be on any MINI for the '05 model year – I am sure our friend Gabe can learn more for us.

Meantime, I want to see more of the “Hoot” orange – for owl fanatics? ;)

Also, now that I have followed the link … “strictly for internal use only”! :)

Yeah get it while you can :)

Yeah that PW one is a nasty rumor. That would probably be my choice if I was ordering an MCS today.

Of course not being included in the 2005 Cabrio ordering list doesn't look good.

Thanks, Ian. Fixed.

here's a spy shot from mini2.com of the chrome boot latches, they look really great, IMHO.

We've know about the option for some time but there hasn't been an official photo as of yet. There have been a few spy shots floating around however.

I'm wondering why no pepper white on cabrio(convertable) too. Seems a shame it would suit the car well

hi,

although nobody was replying on that at that time, I have the confirmation today that all cuurrent special designed baggage offered for the MINI cabrio is made by “mandarina duck” (saw it in a magazine today)… man, I'm such a smart ass (^_^)… and it also says “prize on request”, meaning that it's gonna be very expensive!

Thanks Gabe. I can't wait for the part number for the chrome interior package to be released so I can add those items to my '03 MCS.

Here's some more luggage info for you: https://www.motoringfile.com/2004/03/16/theminicabrio_luggage.

GJR – bad news on that front. I've heard it isn't designed to be easily retrofitted. That being said I'm sure it could be done.

OK- if it's going to be a tough undertaking, I guess I'll have to shell out the big $$$ for the ones from

http://www.coopertuning.de

They're expensive pieces, but I'm a sucker for chrome :(

Same here!
